Practice What You Teach opens today, October 1! The awards presentation will be streamed at https://www.facebook.com/ArtCenterVB this evening at 7:00 pm. Juror, Barbara Laws will be presenting awards!
Barbara Laws is an esteemed art educator, she taught in the Norfolk Public Schools for 42 years at elementary, middle, and high school levels, until her retirement. During that time, she also served for 8 years as an Assistant Principal and an Arts Supervisor for 15 years. She served in many roles in VAEA, including President of VAEA.
If you are attending the
VAEA conference later in the month, come to our Educator’s reception on Oct.
16th, 5-7 pm. The Art Center is also open throughout the conference:
Thurs-Fri, 10 am- 5 pm, Sat. 10 am- 4 pm, and Sunday 12-4 pm.
