Emerging Visions: Reconstruction
This month make your way to the Greater Reston Arts Center! These students have been brainstorming, creating and responding to the idea of Reconstruction since November when they visited the gallery to see how artists interpret a like theme in different ways.
These students contemplated complex issues such as memory, identity, religion, love and recovery in order to best visually define reconstruction. They explored mixed media, painting, image transfer, and photography as a means to answer the pondering of what reconstruction looks like to them as individuals. Friday night was the reception and it was packed house with enthusiastic and curious viewers!
The Emerging Visions show is on display until April 4th.
